". . . where dreams come true"
BRIO! Quartet
When you hear this quartet sing you will understand the meaning
of the word BRIO! This Italian word means vivacity, enthusiasm and zest and you will see this definition
come to life when these four ladies take the stage.
Darla, Dana, Judy and Vicki are four friends who blend their voices in four-part harmony. While they sing and entertain you they will also educate you about the American art form of barbershop singing and take you for a little stroll down the memory lane of popular music. All four ladies are members of the Emerald City Chorus in Wichita, Kansas. They play vital roles in their chorus as well as their everyday lives. In fact within this group you will find mothers, wives, sisters, daughters and grandmothers, a nurse, two teachers, an office manager, devoted dog owners, lively shoppers, food critics, book and movie reviewers, one quilter, a crochet queen, a cross stitch wizard, and one hot rod princess. You'll also find one slot machine enthusiast, one NASCAR fanatic, one former rock band singer and a gourmet cook. There are two chorus directors, four section leaders and of course one tenor, one lead, one baritone and one bass. Now it is up to you. Stop by for a chat after their performances and get to know these four ladies. You will have an evening filled with BRIO! For performance information, contact Judy at 316.262.5305 or email at:
