Emerald City Chorus is delighted to announce our new alliance with The Arc of Sedgwick County. A portion of the proceeds from our 5th annual show, "Emerald City LIVE" was donated to the Arc.

The Arc of Sedgwick County is a non-profit organization that was established in 1953 by parents concerned about services and future opportunities for their children.

Today the Arc serves persons of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and down syndrome. It is unique among organizations in Sedgwick County in responding to the needs of these persons and their families - often providing the first and most continuous lifeline of support.

The Arc is more than just a service agency providing information and direct services. It functions as a genuine community for this special population and their families. The Arc provides thousands of Sedgwick County residents the opportunity and the means to become valuable, contributing participants in our community.

Through an array of respite, educational and socialization programs, The Arc emphasizes individual life-long training and leisure activities. Its comprehensive services increase public awareness and acceptance.
