Sheri Hart, a member of the International Medalist Kansas City Chorus, began coaching and teaching the art of performance shortly after joining the organization in 1994.  Bringing together a lifetime of performing and the aspects of performance learned while completing her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at The University of Kansas, she specializes in Showmanship, Expression, and Choreography Design.

“I strive to bring the beautiful music that we all know and love as Barbershop to life by enhancing the visual impact and lyrical delivery of each song by every performer.”

 ~ Sheri Hart

As a performer, Sheri is a member of the Kansas City Chorus and has competed in several quartets including the Regional Champion Quartets Fanfare (2001) and Black Tie (2009).  These groups have afforded Sheri the opportunity to perform and compete on the international stage where she feels that she can bring that experience back to those that she works with as they develop their skills.

As a coach, Sheri has worked with choruses and quartets in Region’s 7 and 25 within the Sweet Adelines International organization, including the 2010 International Champion Quartet, Zing.  She has also work with quartets and choruses within the Central States District of The Barbershop Harmony Society, including District Champion Choruses The Heart of America and Central Standard, where she coaches in their category of Performance.
